Job summary

Blackwoods is seeking two proactive Technical Business Development Specialists for the Greystanes branch. You will combine strong customer engagement with product expertise to understand client challenges and apply fit-for-purpose solutions in PPE or Trade Tools/Accessories.

You will engage directly with customers, conduct workplace assessments, run demonstrations, and partner with sales to deliver value-led solutions, contributing to safety, productivity and compliance improvements.

Qualifications

• Experience in business development and customer engagement or relevant sales solutions.
• Ability to influence product adoption through credible technical advice.
• Strong problem-solving skills and translating customer needs into fit-for-purpose recommendations.
• Confident in presenting and demonstrating products to a broad range of stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Engage customers to understand their operating environments and requirements.
• Create demand for targeted products and solutions to grow market share.
• Run customer trials and demonstrations, including proofs-of-concept.
• Conduct workplace assessments and recommend safety, productivity, and compliance solutions.
• Support customer projects, tenders, evaluations and implementations.
• Provide feedback to Sales and Category teams for future growth.
