Qualifications

• 5-8 years of experience as Technical Business Analyst.
• Hands-on Network Segmentation / Subnet experience including Micro-segmentation, SD-WAN, Zero Trust Network, Data Loss Prevention, Network Traffic Analysis.
• Experience in large/complex network environments.

Responsibilities

• Analyse network traffic and application flows to identify connectivity requirements and support network segmentation initiatives.
• Gather, document, and validate business and technical requirements with security, network, and project stakeholders.
• Facilitate workshops and translate requirements into technical specifications for network security, Zero Trust, SD-WAN, SASE, and modernization projects.
• Assess application dependencies, traffic patterns, and security policies to support workload isolation, network visibility, and secure access controls.

Technical Business Analyst (Network Segmentation) – Large Scale Organisation

Initial 12-month Contract opportunity (with chance to extend)

Sydney based with hybrid work flexibility (2-3 days onsite and 2 days WFH)

We are seeking a skilled Technical Business Analyst in Network Segmentation to play a key role in driving network security transformation initiatives across complex enterprise environments. You will work closely with security architects, engineers, and business stakeholders to define requirements, analyse network traffic and application dependencies, and deliver segmentation and Zero Trust solutions that enhance security and operational resilience.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyse network traffic and application flows to identify connectivity requirements and support network segmentation initiatives.
• Gather, document, and validate business and technical requirements with security, network, and project stakeholders.
• Facilitate workshops and translate requirements into technical specifications for network security, Zero Trust, SD-WAN, SASE, and modernisation projects.

Key Requirements
