Job summary

Cache Group in Melbourne's north-west is seeking an Integration Analyst to lead requirements elicitation with business and technical stakeholders, define end-to-end data flows, and validate API specifications.

This six‑month, hybrid contract focuses on integration analysis rather than build, with SIT/UAT support and artefacts that guide developers as the Azure program progresses.

Qualifications

• 5–6 years hands-on in integration specifically.
• Azure Logic Apps or Azure API Management experience.
• Postman used to test and validate APIs.
• Experience with JSON/XML schemas.
• Knowledge of REST and SOAP APIs.
• OpenAPI/Swagger definitions experience.
• Source-to-target mapping and transformation logic.
• SIT/UAT, defect logging and integration testing.
• MuleSoft or SQL experience is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead requirements elicitation with business and technical stakeholders.

Technical Business Analyst — Integration

Our client is one of Australia's most recognised enterprises, running a large and complex technology environment. They have an immediate need for an Integration Analyst, based in Melbourne's north-west, on a hybrid 6-month contract with a strong likelihood of extension.

The role

This is integration analysis, not integration build. You will lead requirements elicitation with business and technical stakeholders, define end-to-end data flows, produce source-to-target mappings and validate API specifications, then support SIT/UAT through to defect resolution. The artefacts you produce go to the developer — you define what gets built.

The work sits across a continuous pipeline of integration change, with a large Azure programme starting shortly.

What you'll need to succeed;

• 5–6 years hands-on in integration specifically — depth in this stack, not a generalist background


• Azure Logic Apps or Azure API Management, used hands-on


• Postman — personally used to test and validate APIs


• JSON/XML schemas — validated and interpreted hands-on


• REST/SOAP APIs — can explain methods including POST from your own work


• OpenAPI/Swagger — used to define or validate specifications


• Source-to-target mapping and transformation logic


• SIT/UAT, defect logging and integration testing


• MuleSoft or SQL (advantageous)
