Job summary

JCDecaux North America is seeking a Technical Business Analyst for a 6-month contract based in Australia. The role focuses on identifying and implementing changes to digital and business systems, from scoping to testing and validation.

• 2+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in media, programmatic or digital environments.
• Experience in systems and data analysis is required.
• Experience with databases, data and network flow mapping is preferred.
• Experience working with third parties in delivery and support services is desirable.
• Strong written and verbal communication and documentation skills.
• A natural problem-solver and facilitator.

About the role:

As a Technical Business Analyst, you will be responsible for identifying, analysing, and implementing changes required to our digital and business systems. This includes scoping, solution design, developing, testing, and validating new solutions. You will oversee business-lead technology improvements, implement any operational changes as necessary and deliver measurable improvements. This is a 6-month contract position.

A Day in the Life:

• Creating detailed business analysis, outlining problems, opportunities, and solutions
• Assess and document the current state of business and digital systems processes to identify and recommend improvements
• Analyse business/functional requirements and objectives, perform gap analysis, and provide recommendations
• Participate in solution design and development activities.
• Deliver insights and recommendations to stakeholders to drive strategic business outcomes
• Determine the effectiveness of proposed solutions including the identification any associated risks and opportunity costs
• Test and validate digital systems and integrations to ensure a high standard of quality assurance
• Identification of business value and how a project aligns to the company’s goals and vision
• Business partner with key stakeholders to understand departmental processes, data, and reporting requirements to provide expertise/recommendations

About you:

You’ll have demonstrated experience as a Business Analyst (min 2 + years) gained ideally within media, programmatic or digital environment. As well as:

• Demonstrated experience in systems and data analysis
• Demonstrated experience in databases, data, and network flow mapping
• Demonstrated experience in working with third parties in both delivery and support services
• Strong communication, documentation skills
• A natural problem solver and facilitator.
