Job summary

JCDecaux North America is seeking a Finishing Operator to operate finishing machinery, monitor print quality, pack and dispatch goods, and maintain daily KPI targets. The role requires strong attention to detail, reliable work ethic, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.

You will join the Finishing Dispatch team in a well-established outdoor advertising printing operation. Hours are Monday–Thursday 6:00am–2:30pm and Friday 6:00am–12:00pm, with potential for development and ongoing

Qualifications

• Experience operating finishing machinery and understanding print substrates.
• Forklift licence is desirable.
• Strong attention to detail and a thorough work ethic.

About the role:

As a Finishing Operator you will be responsible for operating Finishing Machinery, monitoring print quality, packing and ensuring daily KPI’s are met. Good communication, attention for detail and a thorough work ethic is required to excel in the role.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-establish Outdoor Advertising Printing business that has been operating for over 19 years. You will be working in our Finishing Dispatch department along with a team of dedicated staff. Hours for this role are Monday - Thursday 6:00am till 2:30pm and Friday 6:00am to 12:00pm

A day in the life:

• Ensure that relevant finishing, packing procedures are effectively managed and followed.
• Manage and achieve finishing, packing, and dispatch deadlines against schedule due date.
• Record finishing machine information on completed job tickets.
• Ensure relevant campaigns are delivered on time and achieve safety, time, cost & quality outcomes.
• Takes responsibility for improvements and quality control

About you:

To succeed in this role, the following experience and qualifications are essential:

• Strong work ethics, self-motivated with a “can do” attitude.
• Strong Communication skills.
• Ability to work unsupervised.
• Excellent day to day preparation skills.
• Previous experience operating Finishing machinery and Print substrate knowledge would be an advantage.
• Forklift licence is desirable.
