The role requires strong commercial acumen, customer-focused thinking, and advanced financial modelling to support major capital expenditure and business cases. Melbourne-based, with flexible working considerations.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience as a trusted commercial advisor in a matrix organisation.
• Strong commercial acumen and customer-focused thinking.
• Ability to translate complex financial concepts into actionable advice.
• High proficiency in financial modelling and data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Act as a trusted commercial advisor to technology and business leaders, embedding sharp commercial acumen into business cases, budgeting, and major capex plans.
• Foster relationships and collaborative delivery across tech, operations and finance to align financial strategy with business objectives.
• Build sophisticated financial models, evaluate complex data sets, and assess project investments.
• Navigate dynamic portfolios with adaptability and structured problem solving to identify cost optimisations and value creation.
