Job summary

Harris Scarfe in Geelong is seeking enthusiastic casual team members to support weekday operations and stock movement. You will provide excellent customer service, assist shoppers with product selection, and help restock shelves while maintaining a welcoming store environment.

Ideal candidates are flexible, physically fit, and capable of working in a fast-paced retail setting. Opportunities for permanent part-time roles may arise based on performance and store needs.

• Physically fit and comfortable with moving stock, bulky items, and occasional heavy lifting.

• Ability to work independently and take responsibility for opening and closing the store when required.
• Availability for flexible shifts, including late nights, weekends, and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Providing exceptional customer service and creating memorable shopping experiences.
• Assisting customers with product selection and offering advice.
• Handling transactions efficiently at the register.
• Keeping the store looking fresh by restocking, merchandising products, and working stock from pallets onto the shop floor.
• Safely moving and handling bulky items, including some heavy lifting as part of daily store operations.
• Supporting the opening and closing of the store and ensuring operational standards are maintained.
• Ensuring the store is clean, organised, and welcoming for every shopper.
• Working as part of a team to achieve sales goals and deliver top-notch service.
• Supporting in different departments across the store.

About the Role:

We are looking for casual team members with availability during the week, who can break down and work pallets onto the floor. Potential for a permanent part-time position.
