Job summary

Harris Scarfe Geelong is seeking casual team members to support pallet handling, customer service, and stock duties across the store.

You will assist customers with product choices, process transactions, and help restock and merchandize to keep the shop floor inviting. There is potential for a permanent part-time position for proven performers.

About the Role:

We are looking for casual team members with availability during the week, who can break down and work pallets onto the floor.
Potential for a permanent part-time position.

• Providing exceptional customer service and creating memorable shopping experiences.
• Assisting customers with product selection and offering advice.
• Handling transactions efficiently at the register.
• Keeping the store looking fresh by restocking, merchandising products, and working stock from pallets onto the shop floor.
• Safely moving and handling bulky items, including some heavy lifting as part of daily store operations.
• Supporting the opening and closing of the store and ensuring operational standards are maintained.
• Ensuring the store is clean, organised, and welcoming for every shopper.
• Working as part of a team to achieve sales goals and deliver top-notch service.
• Supporting in different departments across the store.
