Ampol Limited is looking for a friendly Retail Team Member to join our busy convenience network in Newcastle–Maitland. You’ll help customers, prepare fresh food and coffee, restock shelves and keep the store looking welcoming and safe. No two shifts are the same, and you’ll be at the heart of delivering quick, helpful service.

Training and support are provided from day one, with a clear path to grow your retail skills and advance within Australia’s largest retail network.

Qualifications

• Assist customers and handle everyday tasks efficiently.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety across the site.

What You’ll Do:

As a Retail Team Member, you'll be at the heart of creating a welcoming, safe and well-presented store that keeps our customers coming back. No two shifts are the same. One moment you'll be helping a customer find exactly what they need and the next you'll be ensuring our shelves are fully stocked, coffee is flowing and the store looks its best.

You’ll play an important role in keeping the entire site running smoothly by:

• Making every customer stop a great one by serving customers with a smile, helping them find what they need, preparing fresh food and coffee and keeping things moving at the checkout.
  
• Keeping the store looking its best by restocking shelves, receiving deliveries, maintaining displays and ensuring customers can easily find what they're after.
  
• Creating a clean, safe and welcoming environment by maintaining high standards across the entire site, from the shop floor and food areas to the bathrooms and forecourt.
  
• Keeping the store running smoothly by, following safety procedures, handlingtransactions accurately and taking ownership of day-day store operations.
