Job summary

Ampol Limited is seeking a Retail Team Member in Sydney, NSW to ensure a welcoming store environment and efficient customer service. You’ll assist shoppers, stock shelves, and maintain safety and cleanliness across the site.

Responsibilities

• Serve customers with a smile and help them find what they need at the checkout.
• Restock shelves, receive deliveries, and keep displays tidy and easy to shop.
• Create a clean, safe, and welcoming environment including shop floor, food area, bathrooms and forecourt.
• Follow safety procedures and handle transactions accurately to keep day-to-day store operations running smoothly.

What You’ll Do:

As a Retail Team Member, you'll be at the heart of creating a welcoming, safe and well-presented store that keeps our customers coming back. No two shifts are the same. One moment you'll be helping a customer find exactly what they need and the next you'll be ensuring our shelves are fully stocked, coffee is flowing and the store looks its best.

You’ll play an important role in keeping the entire site running smoothly by:

• Making every customer stop a great one by serving customers with a smile, helping them find what they need, preparing fresh food and coffee and keeping things moving at the checkout.
  
• Keeping the store looking its best by restocking shelves, receiving deliveries, maintaining displays and ensuring customers can easily find what they're after.
  
• Creating a clean, safe and welcoming environment by maintaining high standards across the entire site, from the shop floor and food areas to the bathrooms and forecourt.
  
• Keeping the store running smoothly by, following safety procedures, handlingtransactions accurately and taking ownership of day-day store operations.
