Job summary

Americold is seeking two experienced Team Managers to join our Spearwood, Western Australia site. You will lead frontline warehouse teams, coordinate daily shift activity, and drive safe, efficient operations to deliver reliable service to customers.

The role requires hands-on leadership in a fast-paced warehouse, with experience in warehousing, distribution or cold storage, strong safety focus, and ability to collaborate with site leaders.

Qualifications

• Hands-on people leader balancing safety, service, productivity and team engagement.
• Experience leading or supervising teams in warehousing, distribution, cold storage, logistics or similar operational environments.
• Strong understanding of shift-based operations, labour planning, workflow coordination and KPI delivery.
• Demonstrated ability to build team capability, manage performance and create a positive, accountable team culture.
• Strong commitment to workplace health and safety, food safety and operational compliance.
• Confident communication, problem-solving and decision-making skills in a fast-moving environment.

We are looking for two experienced Team Managers to join our Americold site in Spearwood, Western Australia. These roles are responsible for leading frontline warehouse teams, coordinating daily shift activity, driving safe and efficient operations, and ensuring our customers receive reliable, high-quality service across our temperature-controlled supply chain.

Shift details

We have two Team Manager opportunities available: one working Monday to Friday, 10:00am to 6:30pm, and one working Monday to Thursday, 5:00am to 3:30pm.

What You’ll Do

• Lead, coach and support a team of frontline team members to deliver safe, efficient and reliable warehouse operations.
• Plan and coordinate daily shift activity, including labour allocation, workflow priorities, service levels and KPI performance.
• Drive a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with Americold’s health, safety, quality and operational standards.
• Work closely with other site leaders and support teams to resolve operational issues and maintain customer service outcomes.

What Experience And Education You Need

• You will be a hands‑on people leader who can balance safety, service, productivity and team engagement in a fast‑paced warehouse environment.
• Previous experience leading or supervising teams in warehousing, distribution, cold storage, logistics or a similar operational environment.
• Strong understanding of shift‑based operations, labour planning, workflow coordination and KPI delivery.
• Demonstrated ability to build team capability, manage performance and create a positive, accountable team culture.
• A strong commitment to workplace health and safety, food safety and operational compliance.
• Confident communication, problem‑solving and decision‑making skills in a fast‑moving environment.

What Could Set You Apart

• Experience in cold storage, FMCG, food distribution or other temperature‑controlled supply chain environments.
• A practical, hands‑on leadership style with the ability to remain calm and focused during busy operational periods.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build trusted working relationships across teams.
• Confidence using systems, reporting tools and operational data to support decision‑making.
