Job summary

Wesfarmers Health, Sydney Fulfilment Centre in Marsden Park, NSW, seeks a Team Manager - Outbound (AM) to lead fulfilment and dispatch operations. You will oversee multiple zones, drive accuracy, and ensure orders are completed on time, with a focus on safety and high-quality outcomes.

Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will manage staffing, coach team members, analyse performance data, and collaborate with Inventory and Inbound teams to optimise product flow.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience in FMCG or high-volume operations.
• Data-driven problem solving.
• Experience managing change within teams.
• Clear, concise communication across teams.
• Ability to plan long-term goals and translate into action.
• High School Certificate or related qualification (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Plan and manage fulfilment activities across AFrame, Route, PiE, Case Pick, Fridge and GHIV/DD, ensuring orders are waved, picked and completed within service windows.
• Oversee dispatch operations, including order collation, manifesting, issuing to drivers and meeting dispatch targets.
• Monitor daily productivity and accuracy to ensure safe, efficient operations.
• Identify staffing requirements to meet service and cost KPIs.
• Train and upskill team members to cover peak activity and operational demands.
• Analyse QA, fulfilment and dispatch data to identify improvements and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with Inventory and Inbound teams to optimise product flow and picking efficiencies.
• Lead and engage the dispatch team in partnership with other Fulfilment Centre teams.
• Promote and uphold a strong safety culture and compliance with safety standards.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and encourage team feedback.

What you'll do:

We are seeking a Team Manager - Outbound (AM) to lead and optimise fulfilment and dispatch operations within our Sydney Fulfilment Centre at Marsden Park, working Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring all customer orders are fulfilled on time, in full and with a high degree of accuracy. You will oversee multiple operational zones and drive safe, efficient, and high-quality outcomes across the AM shift.

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Plan and manage fulfilment activities across AFrame, Route, PiE, Case Pick, Fridge and GHIV/DD, ensuring all orders are waved, picked and completed within required service windows
• Oversee dispatch operations, including order collation, manifesting, issuing to drivers and meeting dispatch targets
• Monitor daily productivity and accuracy to ensure optimal performance while maintaining a safe working environment
• Identify and plan staffing requirements to meet service and cost KPIs
• Train and upskill team members to ensure coverage across peak activity and operational demands
• Analyse QA, fulfilment and dispatch data to identify improvement opportunities and implement corrective actions
• Collaborate closely with Inventory and Inbound teams to optimise product flow and picking efficiencies
• Lead and engage the dispatch team, fostering strong collaboration with other Fulfilment Centre teams
• Promote and uphold a strong safety culture, ensuring compliance with safety, wellbeing and operational standards
• Support continuous improvement initiatives, encouraging team feedback, new ideas and better ways of working

What you'll bring:

• Proven experience in a leadership role within FMCG, supply chain or a high-volume operational environment
• Demonstrated ability to use data, knowledge and experience to identify problems potentially impacting teams or programs and proactively develop and implement effective solutions
• Demonstrated capability to lead, support and manage change within teams. Understanding the impact on the team and taking ownership for implementation of change
• Demonstrated capability to communicate clearly and concisely ensuring messages are understood by all within the team using a range of communication techniques. Ability to express ideas clearly, listen effectively and provide feedback constructively
• Demonstrated understanding of key drivers of success within teams to enable achievement of organisational goals. Ability to think and plan goals in the long term as well as the present
• High School Certificate and/or qualifications in Business, Management or Logistics (preferred)
