Job summary

Uniting seeks a Team Leader in Ballarat to guide a passionate team delivering therapeutic, family-centred support for young people aged 12-17 and families. You will oversee the Ballarat service stand-up and daily operations, ensuring a safe, welcoming environment and leading staff development.

You will coach the Family Worker and Counsellor teams, applying trauma-informed and strengths-based approaches to improve outcomes and keep families connected.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in Social Work, Psychology, or related field.
• Experience in case management with young people and families.
• Experience leading a residential or community service is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support a team delivering therapeutic, family-centred support.
• Oversee daily operations of Ruby's Ballarat service and ensure safety.
• Coach and supervise Family Worker and Counsellor teams.
• Support families to reduce conflict and stay together at home.
