Job summary

Elite Imaging Group in Rockhampton is seeking an experienced Sonographer to join our private imaging practice. You will deliver high-quality ultrasound examinations across general, obstetric, vascular, and musculoskeletal modalities within a supportive, patient-focused team.

The role offers an opportunity to step into a Clinical Team Leader position, mentoring staff and contributing to ongoing development. Flexible full-time or part-time arrangements, CPD support and modern equipment are

Qualifications

• Hold current ASAR accreditation.
• Excellent scanning and patient care skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Commitment to high clinical standards.
• Leadership or mentoring experience is valued but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform General Ultrasound examinations across multiple modalities.
• Conduct Musculoskeletal, Vascular, Obstetric, Gynecological, and Small Parts scans.
• Deliver exceptional patient care and maintain high clinical standards.
• Collaborate with the team to promote continuous improvement.

Elite Imaging Group is seeking an experienced Sonographer to join our established private imaging practice in Rockhampton.

We are looking for a motivated and patient-focused sonographer who enjoys working within a supportive team environment and takes pride in delivering high-quality examinations and exceptional patient care.

For the right candidate, there is also an opportunity to step into a Clinical Team Leader position and play a key role in mentoring staff, supporting clinical excellence and contributing to the ongoing development of the practice.

You will be supported by an experienced and collaborative team that values professionalism, quality and continuous improvement.

About You

• Hold current ASAR accreditation
• Demonstrate strong scanning and patient care skills
• Be passionate about providing an exceptional patient experience
• Work well independently and within a team
• Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Take pride in maintaining high clinical standards
• Previous leadership, mentoring or team development experience is highly regarded but not essential.
