Job summary

Queensland X-Ray is seeking a full-time Sonographer to provide high-quality imaging across general ultrasound, women’s imaging, MSK, vascular and emergency workloads in the Toowoomba region. The role benefits from experienced radiologists and access to state-of-the-art equipment.

ASAR registration is required, with a minimum of 2 years’ experience. Strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to ongoing professional development are essential.

Qualifications

• Full ASAR registration is required.
• Minimum 2+ years experience as a fully qualified Sonographer.
• Demonstrated experience in MSK and vascular is highly regarded.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build and maintain positive relationships with patients, staff and referrers.
• Ongoing commitment to skill development and personal/professional growth.
• Ability to adapt to existing processes and policies.
• Friendly, caring and compassionate nature.

About The Role

This is a full time Sonographer role based across our Toowoomba Region practices.

Our practices offer a unique variety of settings, and you will perform high quality imaging across general ultrasound, women’s imaging, MSK , vascular and emergency workloads. It will also be highly regarded if you hold accreditation in nuchal translucency.

About You

• Full ASAR registration is required
• Minimum 2+ years experience as a fully qualified Sonographer
• Demonstrated experience in MSK and vascular is highly regarded
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build and maintain positive relationships with all stakeholders, including patients, staff, referrers
• Ongoing commitment to skill development also encompassing personal and professional growth
