Job summary

Queensland X-Ray is seeking an experienced Sonographer to provide high-quality ultrasound imaging across general, women’s, MSK, vascular and emergency workloads in Townsville practices. The role offers flexibility with full-time or part-time hours and a weekday/weekend on-call roster.

Qualifications

• Full ASAR registration is required.
• Minimum 2+ years experience as a fully qualified Sonographer.

About The Role

This Sonographer role is being offered on either a full-time or part-time basis in our Townsville region. Working across our Townsville practices, the shift times vary according to practice hours. Participation in the weekday and weekend on-call roster is required.

Our practices offer a unique variety of settings, and you will perform high quality imaging across general ultrasound, women’s imaging, MSK , vascular and emergency workloads. It will also be highly regarded if you hold accreditation in nuchal translucency.

About You

• Full ASAR registration is required
• Minimum 2+ years experience as a fully qualified Sonographer
• Demonstrated experience in MSK and vascular is highly regarded
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build and maintain positive relationships with all stakeholders, including patients, staff, referrers
• Ongoing commitment to skill development also encompassing personal and professional growth
• Passion for delivering an exceptional customer experience
• Ability to adapt to existing processes and policies
