Job summary

Centrecare Gosnells is seeking a proactive Team Leader to guide the ReSet South Hub, overseeing the delivery of reintegration services for adults leaving custody. You will supervise a multidisciplinary team, ensuring culturally safe and evidence-informed practice with strong community links.

You will collaborate with partner agencies, manage client intake and planning, monitor outcomes and reporting, and support staff development within a thriving justice and community services environment.

Qualifications

• Recognised qualifications in Justice/Criminology, Psychology, Social Work/Sciences, Mental Health and/or Counselling, and related disciplines or equivalent.
• Previous leadership experience within therapeutic, counselling or community services.
• Sound crisis intervention skills and knowledge.
• Experience in family and domestic violence program and service delivery.
• Relevant Experience working in a Justice Setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership, supervision and practice oversight to the ReSet South Hub team, fostering a culturally safe, strengths-based and outcomes-focused service environment.
• Support high-quality client intake, assessment, case planning and review processes in accordance with ReSet service requirements and contractual obligations.
• Work collaboratively with Wungening Aboriginal Corporation, consortium partners and Department of Justice stakeholders to ensure coordinated and effective service delivery.
• Monitor service performance, client outcomes and data quality, ensuring compliance with funding, reporting and accreditation requirements.
• Facilitate regular team meetings, reflective practice and supervision to support staff wellbeing, capability development and continuous improvement.
• Promote culturally responsive, trauma-informed and evidence-informed practice that supports successful reintegration, family connection and community participation for clients leaving custody.
• Contribute to service development, partnership engagement and the achievement of ReSet's strategic and operational objectives.
• Actively contribute as a member of the Centrecare Gosnells Leadership Team, supporting organisational priorities, workforce development, service integration, and a collaborative leadership culture across the broader Gosnells portfolio.

About the Service

The ReSet Reintegration Service is a culturally responsive adult justice program that supports men and women in prison and throughout their transition back into the community. Led by Wungening Aboriginal Corporation and delivered in partnership with Centrecare, Waalitj Foundation and Zonta House, ReSet works with individuals before release and for up to 12 months following release to support successful reintegration and reduce further offending. The service provides holistic support across family and community connection, parenting, accommodation, employment and training, health and wellbeing, and community engagement. Through a strengths-based and trauma-informed approach, ReSet assists people to build self-belief, strengthen family relationships, achieve stability, and create meaningful pathways toward long-term independence and community participation. The service operates through North and South Hubs across metropolitan Perth, delivering integrated support to people involved in the justice system.

About the Role

The Team Leader leads the ReSet South Hub, providing day-to-day leadership, practice oversight and supervision to an integrated team of partnership staff delivering reintegration services. Working closely alongside Wungening's ReSet North Hub Coordinator, the ReSet Program Manager, consortium partners and Department of Justice stakeholders, this role is responsible for ensuring high-quality, culturally safe and evidence-informed service delivery. The Team Leader supports staff development, drives continuous improvement, and fosters collaboration across hubs and partner agencies to ensure clients receive coordinated support that strengthens family connections, addresses barriers to reintegration, and promotes lasting positive outcomes in the community

To Be Successful, You Will Need

• Recognised qualifications in Justice/Criminology, Psychology, Social Work/Sciences, Mental Health and/or Counselling, and related disciplines or equivalent.
• Previous leadership experience within therapeutic, counselling or community services.
• Sound crisis intervention skills and knowledge.
• Demonstrated experience leading teams.
• Specialist knowledge of community services and service delivery gained through experience, education, or training.
• Experience in Family and Domestic Violence program and service delivery.
• Relevant Experience working in a Justice Setting.
• Experience in case management, report writing, and coordination of client services.
• Possession of a current 'C' (previously 'A') class driver's license and vehicle.
