Job summary

Centurion in Darwin is seeking an experienced Team Leader - OSR to oversee the day-to-day receipting operations at off-site locations. You will lead and support a team of operators, ensuring accurate receiving, documentation and processing of freight while maintaining KPIs and safety standards.

This hands-on leadership role requires a strong logistics background, a valid Australian forklift licence, and familiarity with SAP or handheld scanning tools.

• Demonstrated leadership or supervisory experience in warehousing, transport, or logistics.
• Valid Australian forklift licence with practical operating experience.
• Strong understanding of logistics and transport operations; SAP experience is highly regarded.

Job description

We are seeking an experienced Team Leader - OSR to join our Darwin team. This hands-on leadership role will oversee the day-to-day receipting operations at off-site locations, ensuring freight is accurately received, documented, and processed for one of our major customers. You will lead and support a team of operators, coordinate with key stakeholders, monitor KPIs, and maintain high standards of safety, compliance, and operational efficiency.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Oversee the day-to-day receipting operations at off-site locations.
• Ensure all incoming freight is accurately received, documented, and processed.
• Lead, train, and support a team of operators.
• Allocate daily tasks and monitor team performance, productivity, and adherence to KPIs.
• Ensure compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and WHS requirements.
• Act as the first point of contact for operational escalations and problem resolution.
• Liaise with drivers, warehouse personnel, and transport planners to coordinate delivery schedules.
• Ensure freight is correctly labelled, barcoded, and updated within logistics systems.

What You’ll Bring

• Demonstrated leadership or supervisory experience within a warehousing, transport, or logistics environment.
• Valid Australian Forklift Licence with practical operating experience.
• Strong understanding of logistics and transport operations.
• Experience using logistics systems and handheld scanning technology (SAP experience highly regarded).
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and time management skills.
