Job summary

Centurion in Darwin seeks an experienced Team Leader - OSR to oversee day-to-day receipting operations at off-site locations. You will lead and support a team of operators, ensuring accurate receipt, documentation, and processing of freight while coordinating with drivers and planners to meet delivery schedules.

The role requires forklift licensing, strong logistics knowledge, and hands-on leadership. This is a permanent full-time position offering weekly pay, training, and career development

Qualifications

• Leadership or supervisory experience in warehousing, transport or logistics.
• Valid Australian Forklift Licence with operating experience.
• Strong understanding of logistics and transport operations.
• Experience using logistics systems and handheld scanning technology (SAP a plus).
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving and time management.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day receipting operations at off-site locations.
• Ensure all incoming freight is accurately received, documented, and processed.
• Lead, train, and support a team of operators.
• Allocate daily tasks and monitor team performance, productivity, and KPIs.
• Ensure SOPs and WHS compliance are met.
• Act as first point of contact for escalations and problem resolution.
• Liaise with drivers, warehouse personnel, and transport planners to coordinate delivery schedules.
• Ensure freight is correctly labelled, barcoded, and updated in logistics systems.

Job description

We are seeking an experienced Team Leader - OSRto join our Darwin team. This hands-on leadership role will oversee the day-to-day receipting operations at off-site locations, ensuring freight is accurately received, documented, and processed for one of our major customers. You will lead and support a team of operators, coordinate with key stakeholders, monitor KPIs, and maintain high standards of safety, compliance, and operational efficiency.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Oversee the day-to-day receipting operations at off-site locations.
• Ensure all incoming freight is accurately received, documented, and processed.
• Lead, train, and support a team of operators.
• Allocate daily tasks and monitor team performance, productivity, and adherence to KPIs.
• Ensure compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and WHS requirements.
• Act as the first point of contact for operational escalations and problem resolution.
• Liaise with drivers, warehouse personnel, and transport planners to coordinate delivery schedules.
• Ensure freight is correctly labelled, barcoded, and updated within logistics systems.

What You’ll Bring

• Demonstrated leadership or supervisory experience within a warehousing, transport, or logistics environment.
• Valid Australian Forklift Licence with practical operating experience.
• Strong understanding of logistics and transport operations.
• Experience using logistics systems and handheld scanning technology (SAP experience highly regarded).
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and time management skills.
