Job summary

The Centre for Non-Violence in Bendigo is seeking an experienced Team Leader to guide Adults Using Violence Programs. You will lead a skilled team delivering evidence-based interventions that promote accountability and safer family outcomes.

As a member of the Response and Recovery Leadership Team, you will oversee service delivery across men's programs, support workforce development, and foster a culture of learning, accountability and practice excellence.

Qualifications

• Must meet Victorian mandatory minimum qualification requirements for specialist family violence practitioner.
• Experience leading, supervising and mentoring staff in community services.
• Strong understanding of family violence from a gendered and feminist framework.
• Experience in Men’s Behaviour Change Programs or specialist interventions with adults using family violence.
• Experience in intake, assessment, risk assessment, case management and service development.
• Highly developed communication, stakeholder engagement and partnership-building skills.
• Demonstrated ability to lead through change, support workforce development and foster a collaborative, high performing team culture.

Responsibilities

• Lead, supervise and inspire practitioners and facilitators across Adults Using Violence Programs.
• Oversee referral, intake, assessment, allocation and waitlist processes.
• Monitor program demand, workforce capacity and service outcomes to support continuous improvement and positive client outcomes.
• Coordinate and support delivery of Men’s Behaviour Change Programs.
• Drive innovation, quality improvement and evidence-informed practice across programs.
• Build and strengthen partnerships across the family violence and community services sectors to enhance collaboration and community impact.
• Foster workforce capability through coaching, reflective supervision and professional development.
• Contribute to strategic planning, practice development and organisational leadership initiatives.
