Job summary

Bolton Clarke invites applications for a Maintenance Team Leader to lead a team of maintenance professionals across facilities. You will manage statutory, preventative and corrective maintenance, coordinate external contractors for specialised work, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance throughout site operations.

The role requires strong leadership, planning, and prioritisation skills, with focus on efficiency, safety, and cost-effective procurement practices in a not-for-profit aged care

Qualifications

• Moderate experience as a Maintenance Officer preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Workplace Safety and Health principles, construction practices and regulatory requirements.
• Proficient in OHS, maintenance equipment management, records management and materials management.

Responsibilities

• Leads and mentors the maintenance team and allocates work, ensuring statutory, preventative and corrective maintenance is delivered.
• Oversees cleanliness, functionality and presentation of gardens and common areas across Bolton Clarke facilities.
• Conducts regular inspections to ensure compliance with health and safety codes and environmental management principles.

Bolton Clarke Residential group now has 87 Aged Care Homes across QLD, NSW, VIC, SA & WA, with the inclusion of the Allity, McKenzie & Acacia Living Group.About the RoleAs the Maintenance Team Leader, you will be responsible for leading and mentoring a team of maintenance professionals and managing the delivery of statutory, preventative, and corrective maintenance to the facilities. You will manage relationship with external contractors for specialised services and handle resource allocation.
