Job summary

Bolton Clarke Careers – Sydney Southern Suburbs NSW is seeking a Team Leader Housekeeping to manage day-to-day housekeeping and laundry operations, ensuring a safe, clean, and high-quality environment for residents and staff.

You will lead a team, drive compliance with Australian Standards, manage budgets, and foster a positive safety-focused culture while building relationships with residents and committees.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in a commercial housekeeping, hotel services, or cleaning leadership role.
• Strong organisational and people management skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with residents, families, and colleagues.
• Evidence of Australian working rights.
• Complete a National Police Check and or a NDIS Workers Check (or willingness to obtain) prior to commencement

Responsibilities

• Lead, supervise, and support the daily activities of the housekeeping and laundry team.
• Ensure all cleaning and laundry services meet compliance, quality, and accreditation requirements.
• Manage departmental budgets, including labour, cleaning, and laundry costs, ensuring budget targets and rostered hours are achieved.
• Oversee the ordering, delivery, inventory control, and storage of housekeeping supplies and equipment.
• Build positive relationships with residents and resident committees, responding to feedback and resolving concerns promptly and professionally.
• Identify and implement opportunities to improve operational processes, efficiency, and service delivery.
• Promote and lead compliance with Bolton Clarke's Occupational Health, Safety and Environmental (OHS&E) policies and objectives.
• Monitor performance and maintain high standards of customer service, cleanliness, and presentation across the site.

About the Opportunity
