Job summary

Bolton Clarke Group is seeking a Team Leader Housekeeping at Glasshouse Views, Beerwah on the Sunshine Coast Hinterland. You will lead the housekeeping and laundry team, ensure compliance with standards, and manage budgets to deliver a high-quality environment for residents.

You will work closely with residents, families and staff, driving service excellence and continuous improvement while modelling a safety-focused culture and upholding Bolton Clarke’s policies.

Responsibilities

• Lead the daily activities of the housekeeping and laundry team.
• Ensure cleaning and laundry services meet compliance, quality, and accreditation requirements.
• Manage departmental budgets including labour, cleaning, and laundry costs.
• Oversee ordering, delivery, inventory control, and storage of supplies and equipment.
• Foster positive relations with residents and committees, address feedback promptly.
• Identify opportunities to improve operational processes and service delivery.
• Promote compliance with OHS&E policies and objectives.
• Maintain high standards of customer service, cleanliness and presentation.

About The Opportunity

• As a Team Leader Housekeeping you will lead the day-to-day operations of our housekeeping and laundry services, ensuring a safe, efficient, and high-quality environment for residents, visitors, and team members. You will play a key role in maintaining exceptional cleaning and laundry standards while ensuring compliance with legislative requirements and Australian Standards for Laundry and Cleaning Practices.
• Working closely with residents, staff, and stakeholders, you will drive service excellence, support continuous improvement initiatives, and foster a positive and safety-focused team culture.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, supervise, and support the daily activities of the housekeeping and laundry team.
• Ensure all cleaning and laundry services meet compliance, quality, and accreditation requirements.
• Manage departmental budgets, including labour, cleaning, and laundry costs, ensuring budget targets and rostered hours are achieved.
• Oversee the ordering, delivery, inventory control, and storage of housekeeping supplies and equipment.
• Build positive relationships with residents and resident committees, responding to feedback and resolving concerns promptly and professionally.
• Identify and implement opportunities to improve operational processes, efficiency, and service delivery.
• Promote and lead compliance with Bolton Clarke's Occupational Health, Safety and Environmental (OHS&E) policies and objectives.
• Monitor performance and maintain high standards of customer service, cleanliness, and presentation across the site.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

• Demonstrated experience in a commercial housekeeping, hotel services, or cleaning leadership role.
• Strong organisational and people management skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with residents, families, and colleagues.
• Proven ability to work independently while contributing positively to a collaborative team environment.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.Evidence of Australian working rights.
• Complete a National Police Check and or a NDIS Workers Check (or willingness to obtain) prior to commencement
