Job summary

Healthcare Australia (HCA) is seeking an experienced Team Leader from Home Care, aged care, disability or healthcare who can build great teams and deliver outstanding outcomes for clients across the Sydney service area.

This hands-on leadership role involves coaching and mentoring your Support Workers, managing client relationships, coordinating the workforce and collaborating with Care Managers and Recruitment to ensure safe, high-quality services.

Qualifications

  • Experience coaching, mentoring and developing staff.
  • A strong understanding of the realities of frontline care and supporting vulnerable clients.
  • Confidence managing client concerns, complaints and difficult conversations.
  • Excellent relationship-building and communication skills.
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities in a busy environment.
  • Confidence working across multiple stakeholders and teams.
  • A current driver’s licence and the ability to travel across the service area for field visits.

Responsibilities

  • Lead & develop: Coach, mentor and support Support Workers through onboarding, training, field visits, reviews and ongoing development.
  • Deliver great client outcomes: Build strong client relationships, respond to concerns and complaints, and ensure services are delivered safely and to a high standard.
  • Coordinate the workforce: Work with Rostering and Recruitment to manage availability, fill shifts, support workforce planning and strengthen retention.
  • Drive improvement: Identify opportunities to improve the workforce and client experience, service delivery and ways of working.
  • Collaborate: Partner with Care Managers, Recruitment, Rostering and the wider HCA team to solve problems and deliver excellent service.

Job Description

Are you an experienced Team Leader from Home Care, aged care, disability or healthcarewho knows how to build great teams and deliver outstanding outcomes for clients? Healthcare Australia (HCA) is looking for an exceptional leader to support a team of Support Workers across a broad Sydney service area.

This is a hands-on people leadership role. You'll be out in the field, coaching and mentoring your team, supporting client relationships, managing service issues and working closely with Recruitment, Rostering and our broader Homecare team to make sure we have the right people delivering the right support. Day to day you will:
