Job summary

Silverchain is seeking a Service Delivery Team Leader to lead and support a team of care workers delivering in-home services across the Central Coast region. This is a hands-on leadership role spending time in the field, driving performance, promoting safe work practices and ensuring excellent client outcomes.

This part-time role (20 hours per week) on a 12‑month contract offers field-based work with work-from-home flexibility and occasional travel to our Sydney (Bella Vista) office.

Qualifications

  • Previous people leadership experience.
  • Experience within the community, aged care or health sector will be highly regarded.
  • Demonstrated ability to coach, mentor and develop employees.
  • Confidence managing performance conversations and providing constructive feedback.
  • Strong interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Well-developed organisational and time management skills.
  • Commitment to client outcomes, quality standards and safe work practices.
  • Ability to work autonomously while managing competing priorities.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach and support a team of care workers.
  • Promote a positive safety culture and support employee wellbeing initiatives.
  • Conduct interviews, onboarding activities and inductions for new employees.
  • Manage employee performance, attendance and compliance requirements.
  • Complete workforce administration activities including payroll-related tasks.
  • Support client escalations and service-related enquiries.
  • Conduct one-to-one meetings, field assessments and team meetings.
  • Work closely with Human Resources and operational stakeholders to support employee matters.
  • Contribute to service improvements and operational outcomes.
  • Participate in Contact Centre support rotations when required.
