MacDonnell Regional Council in Papunya seeks a Team Leader - Home Care to lead a small local team and ensure delivery of services in client care plans for aged and disability clients.
The role is full-time and fixed-term until 30 June 2027, with relocation support and community housing for non-locals. Aged care supervisory experience and a relevant Certificate III are preferred.
At MacDonnell Regional Council (MRC), we're proud to call the heart of Australia our home. Spanning a breathtaking 270,000 square kilometres, our region is a land of contrast and beauty—think serene waterholes, vibrant desert sands, rugged mountain ranges, and an abundance of unique flora and fauna.
Our workforce reflects the rich cultural diversity of our region. We honour and respect the traditions and perspectives of our community, so understanding Aboriginal culture—or a willingness to learn—is essential.
Are you an experienced Team Leader who enjoys being the go-to person for a small team of local staff? Do you also possess the skills to ensure services identified in client care plans are successfully delivered to aged and disability clients? If so, we'd love to hear from you.
As our Team Leader - Home Care, you'll play a key role in aged care delivery while acting as the nominated supervisor, developing and implementing a daily work plan for the local home care team.
This role is based in Papunya, with relocation allowance and community-based housing on offer for non-local applicants—giving you a chance to connect with the people and places that make this region so special.
To be eligible for this role, you must have valid Australian working rights. This includes Australian citizenship, permanent residency, or a valid work visa.
