As Team Leader - Finance Operations, you'll lead a dedicated team at the heart of Council's financial operations, drive process improvements, contribute to key organisational projects and help shape the future of finance service delivery at Singleton Council. You'll gain valuable local government experience, exposure to systems and business improvement initiatives, and the opportunity to work collaboratively with stakeholders across the organisation.
Reporting to the Coordinator Finance Operations and Systems Improvements, the Team Leader - Finance Operations is responsible for leading and coordinating Council's Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Treasury and Payroll functions while supporting the delivery of statutory reporting, compliance requirements and financial process improvements. You will provide day-to-day leadership and guidance to a dedicated team and act as a key escalation point for finance-related enquiries.
This position is offered on a Term contract, Full-time basis working 35 hours per week. Remuneration package for this position is based on Grade 12 of Council's Salary System Protocol which equates to a base salary of $99,421 - $111,834 per annum plus superannuation.
