Job summary

CatholicCare NT Wadeye is seeking a Team Leader to oversee a small, dedicated team delivering Children and Parenting, AOD Counselling, and Men’s Behaviour Change programs in Wadeye.

You will mentor staff, use professional knowledge to support direct client services, and strengthen community capacity, building lasting relationships for positive change. Relocation assistance and subsidised accommodation are provided.

Qualifications

• Relevant qualification in Social Work, Psychology, or Men’s Family Violence (or related field).
• Minimum five years' experience in relevant practice and team leadership.
• Specialist knowledge in at least one area: Children and Parenting, Alcohol and Other Drugs and/or Men’s Behaviour Change.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills including report writing and supervision.
• Demonstrated cultural competency, particularly with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.
• Valid Australian Driver’s Licence (C Class).

Responsibilities

• Oversee a small team and manage delivery of support services in Wadeye.
• Lead and mentor staff, applying professional knowledge to direct client services.
• Strengthen capacity and build meaningful relationships to achieve positive community outcomes.
