Job summary

The Barossa Hills Fleurieu Local Health Network is seeking suitably qualified nursing professionals for the Community Mental Health – Mt Barker team. Qualifications

• Participate in quality improvement activities including clinical audits, evaluation, and evidence-based practice to improve consumer outcomes.

• Barossa Hills Fleurieu Local Health Network
• Community Mental Health – Mt Barker
• Salary: RN/M3 $130,190 to $136,010 p.a. AHP3 $112,139 to $120,284 p.a.
• Full time, until June 2027

This position is multi‑classed as either RN/M3 or AHP3 and the appointment classification will be determined by qualifications and experience.

WHAT ARE WE OFFERING?

The role provides advanced nursing care across a range of mental health service settings, supporting the delivery of recovery-oriented, evidence-based practice for consumers with complex needs. Practitioners at this level demonstrate development from competent to proficient practice, take accountability for their own clinical work, and are responsible for appropriate delegation and supervision of others.

Working in partnership with the Nurse Unit Manager and Associate Nurse Unit Managers, the role contributes to the leadership and coordination of nursing services within the unit. This includes supporting continuity of care, assisting with service delivery across multidisciplinary teams, and contributing to operational management functions such as staffing, rostering, recruitment, performance processes, leave management, and resource planning.
