WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

• Are you a qualified Occupational Therapist with experience managing a diverse and complex caseload across community, outpatient and/or inpatient settings?
• Do you have strong clinical assessment, care planning and intervention skills, with the ability to work independently while drawing on multidisciplinary support when required?
• Are you passionate about delivering person-centred care that promotes independence, self-management and positive health outcomes for clients and their carers?
• Can you build effective relationships with clients, families, community partners and multidisciplinary team members to deliver coordinated care?
• Do you have a commitment to continuous professional development, quality improvement, culturally safe practice and supporting the growth of students or less experienced staff?

HOW WILL YOU CONTRIBUTE?

• Deliver high-quality Occupational Therapy services through assessment, intervention, care planning and review to support hospital avoidance, early discharge and improved client outcomes.
• Manage and prioritise a complex caseload while contributing to the effective utilisation of team resources and service delivery across the community.
• Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, service providers, clients and carers to develop coordinated, holistic and goal-focused care plans.
• Support service improvement initiatives by contributing to clinical protocols, quality activities, service evaluations and innovative models of care.
• Provide professional leadership through knowledge sharing, mentoring, supervision and supporting students, allied health assistants and less experienced clinicians.
