The City of Ballarat is seeking an experienced and community-focused leader to join the Ballarat Library team as Library Team Leader. Working in a collaborative co-leadership model, you will oversee day-to-day operations, support staff development and ensure inclusive, high-quality library services for all ages.

• Ability to interpret organisational policies and procedures in service delivery.

• Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with staff, customers, community groups and stakeholders.


• Experience coordinating programs, activities or services that engage communities and support learning, literacy and participation.


• Demonstrated ability to use sound judgement, service data and customer feedback to support operational planning, resource management and continuous service improvement.


• Ability to interpret and apply organisational policies, procedures and relevant legislation in a service delivery environment.
