UNSW is seeking a Team Leader, Academic Engagement in Kensington NSW to lead a specialist team within the Information Services Department. You will promote library services, connect users with resources, and deliver teaching and learning support aligned with the Library’s Digital Information Skills Framework.
The role reports to the Associate Director and manages 3–5 direct reports, with a focus on collaborative, university-wide engagement and service improvement.

The Team Leader, Academic Engagement leads one of four specialist Academic Engagement teams within the Information Services Department, delivering consistent, high-quality Library services that support the University’s education, research and engagement goals. The role works closely with Faculties, Schools, academics, researchers, HDR candidates and students to promote Library services, connect users with relevant resources, and deliver teaching and learning support aligned with the Library’s Digital Information Skills Framework. The position also evaluates client feedback to support user-focused service improvements, collaborates across the Library matrix to develop tailored services, and represents the Library on relevant University committees and School or Centre forums.
The role reports to the Associate Director, Academic Engagement and has between three and five direct reports, depending on the subject area.
