Job summary

Glascott Landscape & Civil is seeking an experienced Team Leader for our Newcastle-based maintenance team. This hands-on leadership role involves supervising crews while actively performing day-to-day grounds maintenance across multiple sites.

Travel between Newcastle sites is required using a company vehicle. The position offers growth opportunities within a respected landscape and civil contractor with a diverse portfolio including council, commercial and industrial projects.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years' experience in grounds maintenance, landscaping, vegetation management, or a similar field.
• Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred
• Good communication and organisational skills
• Current driver's licence
• ChemCert AQF3

Responsibilities

• Lead and support maintenance crews across multiple contracts

• Ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard
• Liaise with clients and supervisors as required

Job description

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Team Leader to join our growing maintenance team based in Newcastle. This is a hands-on leadership role that involves supervising crews while actively participating in day-to-day grounds maintenance activities across a variety of sites.

Our work spans multiple sectors, including:

• Local council contracts
• Commercial and industrial sites

As a mobile role, you’ll travel between sites throughout the Newcastle and surrounding regions using a company-provided vehicle.
