With a 100+ year history, we continue to shape the future of mining through innovation and strong operational performance. By joining our inclusive, world-class team, you can help shape the future of mining and make a meaningful difference.

Tanami is one of Australia's most remote and significant underground gold mines, located deep in the Tanami Desert of the Northern Territory. Operating on a fly-in, fly-out roster, Tanami offers the opportunity to work at a world-class operation supported by modern infrastructure and a highly skilled workforce.

The remote location fosters a strong sense of teamwork, resilience and camaraderie, with safety and mutual respect at the centre of everything we do. Working at Tanami means tackling unique challenges, developing valuable skills and being part of a team committed to responsible mining, continuous improvement and shaping the future of the operation.

About Newmont

Newmont Tanami is located on Aboriginal freehold land approximately 540km northwest of Alice Springs and is a long-life, low-cost, world-class asset within a core Newmont region.

The Tanami Expansion 2 (TE2) project is extending mine life beyond 2040 through the development of a hoisting shaft, increasing underground production from 2.6 Mtpa to 3.2 Mtpa. Strong underground exploration results and the successful delivery of the first Tanami Expansion have positioned Tanami as a major contributor to the Newmont global portfolio.

A fully equipped accommodation village is located 40km from site, offering a range of leisure facilities for employees flying in from Perth, Brisbane, Alice Springs or Darwin.

Join us and unearth your potential with a global leader shaping the future of mining.
