Job summary

Torrens University Australia is seeking a Teaching Fellow to join the School of Business, delivering engaging learning across Diploma, Bachelor and Master programs with a student-centred approach.

You'll combine innovative teaching with AI-enabled methods, digital learning design and analytics to support student success and employability in an evolving higher-education environment. Based at Flinders Street or Surry Hills campuses, with online and hybrid delivery options.

Qualifications

• PhD highly preferred.
• Demonstrated expertise in core business disciplines with digital capabilities (AI & analytics).
• Strong facilitation across online and face-to-face Higher Education settings.

Full-time permanent position located at either Flinders Street or Surry Hills Campuses.

What you’ll bring

• PhD (completed or in progress) is highly preferred.

• Demonstrated expertise in one or more core business disciplines, such as Accounting, Finance, Marketing, Management, Strategy or Economics, together with strong digital and analytical capabilities, including the application of AI and technology-enabled decision-making.

• Current industry practice with the ability to integrate contemporary business, responsible and sustainable business principles (including ethics, ESG, and governance), and best-practice learning and teaching approaches into the student experience.

• Strong facilitation skills across online and face-to-face learning environments in Higher Education

• Experience using learning technologies and digital tools to enhance teaching

• Confidence using, or enthusiasm for adopting, AI-enabled approaches in education

• Experience designing engaging learning and assessment activities

• A student-centred approach to teaching and learning

• Strong communication and collaboration skills

• A growth mindset and commitment to continuous professional learning

• Relevant postgraduate qualifications (or working towards completion)
