The BUSY School Salisbury Campus in Adelaide is seeking a qualified teacher to re-engage and teach Year 11 or 12 students, with the ability to deliver Essential English/Essential Maths and Social Studies. This full-time role runs for a 12-month contract from Term 1 to Term 4 2027.

Based at our Salisbury Campus, your role will be to re-engage and teach Year 11 or 12 students. This role is ideally suited to a teacher with the ability to teach one or a combination of the core subjects - Essential English/ Essential Maths and Social Studies.

The BUSY School is part of The BUSY Group, a not-for-profit organisation presenting nearly 50 years as a community partner providing employment services, vocational education and training, apprenticeships, mentoring, Inclusive Employment Support, and allied health services.
The BUSY School is an independent Special Assistance School with 10 campuses across Queensland and New Zealand, providing an alternative program for Year 11 and 12 students who are disengaged or at risk of disengaging from education. Our program has expanded to include The BUSY School Online (TBSO) offering flexible access to our program for all students across Queensland.
Each campus provides a supportive and safe learning environment for young people by providing them with an education program that includes vocational education and training (VET), work experience and opportunities for school-based apprenticeships and traineeships. Our team support the students to gain employability and transferability skills to increases their sense of wellbeing, resilience, belonging, academic achievement, career exploration and employment outcomes.
Our teams’ focus is centred at re-engaging our students to learn, remain eligible for a Queensland Certificate of Education (QCE) and gain employment or further training outcomes upon student’s graduation from Year 12.
