About the role

We are seeking outstanding educators to inspire and mentor the next generation of Heavy Vehicle students. This is a permanent full‑time opportunity based at Wetherill Park campus.

As a TAFE NSW Teacher, you will guide and enhance student learning by delivering hands‑on, practical training. Our teaching section focuses on providing high quality, industry relevant training, delivered to a wide range of learners, including school students and those pursuing post trade qualifications. About You

To be successful in the role, you will:

• Hold appropriate subject knowledge and skills, and at minimum hold a Certificate III in either Mobile Plant Technology, Heavy Vehicle Mechanical Technology or equivalent trade qualification.
• Have a minimum of three years post‑qualification industry experience relevant to your qualifications, gained no longer than five years previously.
• Hold evidence of the required teaching qualification to deliver Vocational Education and Training (VET). See the candidate support document here for details.
• Be prepared to develop and maintain your VET knowledge and skills as well as your industry currency, and trainer/assessor competence.

Highly regarded but not essential:

• Hold a Certificate of Proficiency showing the completion of a relevant apprenticeship.
