Tallawong High School, a new Sydney-North West school opening in stages from 2027 to support up to 1000 students, seeks qualified teachers with unconditional NSW approval. You will teach Mathematics 7–10, 11–12, and Mathematics Extension 1/2, while supporting Aboriginal education and building strong links with local primary schools.
The role emphasizes strong communication, collaboration with staff and parents, and a commitment to inclusive learning across a diverse community.
Tallawong High School is a new school in Sydney’s north west growth corridor, Dharug Ngurra (Country). The school will open with Stage 4 in 2027, growing to full capacity for 1000 students and the first Year 12 cohort in 2031. The school has end-of-trip facilities for staff and is close to public transport. Our school has close links with local primary schools, particularly Schofields Public School and Tallawong Public School, serving a culturally and linguistically diverse community. An innovative Aboriginal Education Cultural Hub will be established on-site, in partnership with the local AECG and local knowledge holders, and this will inform our central commitment to Aboriginal education across all aspects of our school.

If you do not hold a full approval to teach with the NSW Department of Education, you are required to commence the application process at the same time as you apply for this teaching opportunity.
