Leeton High School in regional NSW is seeking an experienced Teacher Mathematics (Years 7–12) to join the NSW Department of Education teaching team.

Total Remuneration Package: Remuneration package valued at up to $160,942.00. Base salary ranges from $92,882.00 to $141,997.00, plus leave loading and employer's contribution to superannuation. Base salary rates above the minimum are available depending on experience.

Leeton High School has an enrolment of 450 students with 15% of the student population being of Aboriginal heritage. The school has also experienced a steady increase in EAL/D enrolments in recent years.

Specific Selection Criteria

• Approval to teach Mathematics (Years 7 - 12).
• Demonstrated ability to deliver innovative and differentiated Mathematics teaching and learning programs, including integrating technology to inspire student engagement and improved learning outcomes.
• Evidence of effective classroom management to promote a supportive and positive learning environment.
• Well-developed interpersonal, communication and organisational skills, and ability to work collaboratively as part of a team

Conditions

An unconditional full approval to teach is a requirement. If you do not hold a full approval to teach with the NSW Department of Education, you are required to commence the application process at the same time as you apply for this teaching opportunity.
