We aim to inspire students to achieve life-readiness and to "let their light shine" through a world-recognised, contemporary education. The School is founded in the Anglican tradition and based on established Christian values.
We are seeking a passionate and collaborative Teacher Librarian to join our Junior School Library team and help create a connected, engaging and progressive library experience for students from Preschool to Year 6.
Working across the Lucy Hill Library and Arnold Library, you will inspire students to read widely, develop their individual reading identities and discover the joy, imagination and possibilities offered by quality literature. You will thoughtfully curate print and digital resources and create an inclusive, welcoming Library environment in which students feel supported to participate, explore and learn.
As an integral partner in learning and teaching, you will collaborate with Year Level teams to enrich Units of Inquiry through literature, information resources and technology. You will support students to ask thoughtful questions, evaluate sources, communicate information effectively and use information ethically and responsibly.
You will also contribute to the continued development of a consistent and connected P-6 Library service, including aligning collection-management practices, reviewing resources and supporting the future development of Library spaces, systems and services.
