Redlands invites applications for a Teacher Librarian in our Junior School Library, joining a collaborative team to foster reading, inquiry and information literacy for students from Preschool to Year 6.

You will curate print and digital resources, create an inclusive library space, and work with Year Level teams to enhanceUnits of Inquiry through literature and technology. The role requires NSW teaching accreditation and a Librarianship qualification.

Qualifications

• NSW teaching accreditation is required.
• A Teacher Librarianship qualification or commitment to pursue ALIA accreditation.

Responsibilities

• Join the Junior School Library team to create a connected, engaging and progressive library experience for students from Preschool to Year 6.
• Collaborate with Year Level teams to enrich Units of Inquiry through literature, information resources and technology.
• Support students to ask thoughtful questions, evaluate sources, communicate information effectively and use information responsibly.
• Contribute to developing a consistent P-6 Library service, align collection-management practices and support library spaces and systems.
