Job summary

Braemar College Limited is seeking a passionate English teacher for the Senior School on a part-time fixed-term basis for Term 2, 2027. The role runs from 12 April 2027 to 18 June 2027 and focuses on delivering English programs to committed students in Years 9–12.

The successful candidate will demonstrate strong knowledge of the English curriculum, an ability to collaborate with staff, and a commitment to student wellbeing and growth within Braemar College's aspirational culture.

Job description

Braemar College is an independent, co-educational, ecumenical school for students in Years 5 to 12. The College has two campuses, both of which are located near Woodend, less than an hour from Melbourne's CBD.

The successful candidate will experience working in one of the most unique educational settings and teach committed and passionate students. The position is a part-time fixed-term position for Term 2, 2027 (approx. teaching load of .50).

You would commence on 12 April 2027 â 18 June 2027. The position exists due to the teacher taking long service leave.

• Have a tertiary teaching qualification that enables you to teach English to VCE.

• Be a current VIT registered teacher.
