Job summary

Narrogo n Senior High School is seeking a dedicated Design and Technology teacher to deliver engaging lessons across woodwork, metalwork and engineering. You will support a diverse student cohort, using evidence-based, differentiated approaches and actively participate in building a positive school culture.

The role emphasises inclusive teaching, professional collaboration, and reflection to drive student outcomes while contributing to the school’s values and priorities.

Qualifications

• Must hold an eligible teacher qualification and registration.

The Role

We are seeking a dedicated and innovative Design and Technology teacher committed to supporting the growth of every student. You should engage with the school community, reflect on your teaching, and use evidence-based approaches to meet diverse student needs.

Mobility appointments for permanent metropolitan and south west teachers

Eligible permanent teachers who hold a substantive teaching position in a North or South Education Region school, or a South West Education Region school* may elect to undertake this role as a 3‑year mobility appointment, with a right of return to their substantive position. At the cessation of the 3‑year mobility appointment, teachers can elect to return to their substantive role, or transfer permanently into this school.

• consent to a Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check and obtain a current Screening Clearance Number issued by the Department of Education’s Screening Unit before you start.
