Qualifications

• Approved Early Childhood Teaching qualification from a recognised university or ACECQA-approved equivalent.
• Teacher registration or accreditation, where required.
• Minimum three years' demonstrated experience in an early childhood setting.
• Strong knowledge of the EYLF, NQF, child development, statutory regulations and inclusive practice.
• Experience mentoring or training colleagues.
• Strong communication, documentation and relationship-building skills.
• Current Working with Children Check and state-based clearance.

Our Cammeray campus is located across the top two floors of Cammeray Square Shopping Mall on Miller Street, right in the heart of the local community. With convenient underground parking and a bus stop directly across the road, families enjoy an easy and accessible drop-off and pick-up experience, while strong connections with nearby local schools support children as they prepare for their next chapter.

About the role

As an Early Childhood Teacher, you'll lead high-level educational practice and learning within your room, planning and delivering curriculum, documenting children's progress, partnering with families and mentoring educators.

This is a classroom-anchored teaching role informed by the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers, the EYLF, the National Quality Framework and OAC's Grow Curriculum.

What you'll do

• Lead a high-quality early learning program that supports children's confidence, wellbeing and development.

• Support school readiness through oral language, social-emotional skills, problem-solving and meaningful group learning.
• Mentor educators in intentional teaching, documentation, reflective practice and inclusive learning.
• Partner with families to support each child's learning, wellbeing, culture and individual needs.
• Contribute to QIP, self-assessment, team meetings and campus-wide educational improvement.

What you'll bring

• Strong communication, documentation, critical reflection and relationship-building skills.
• Current Working with Children Check and relevant state-based child protection clearance.
