Job summary

Quantium is seeking a Tax Manager to own tax across the group globally, from compliance to advisory, reporting to the Head of Tax and partnering with business units to deliver accurate forecasting, governance and optimised tax outcomes.

You’ll lead transfer pricing and international tax initiatives, support R&D incentives, and drive automation and AI-enabled tax processes while building a high-performing team.

Qualifications

• Finance or law degree; postgraduate qualifications (CA, CPA or CTA) preferred.
• 7+ years of tax experience (income tax, GST/VAT, FBT) with international tax exposure.
• Strong technical knowledge of Australian and international tax, and an understanding of transfer pricing concepts.
• Tax governance experience, including identifying risks and documenting procedures and controls.
• Demonstrated experience managing tax compliance across multiple jurisdictions and engaging with tax authorities, external advisors and auditors.
• Strong project management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities without losing sight of the detail.
• Experience with tax technology and a genuine interest in automation and AI tools.
• People leadership skills, with a focus on lifting team capability and performance.
• Clear communication that lands with stakeholders at every level.

As Tax Manager, you’ll own tax across the Quantium group globally, from compliance and provisioning through to advisory, governance and R&D incentives. Reporting to the Head of Tax, you’ll be the go‑to technical expert and trusted business partner supporting the reimagination how tax gets done.

Required Experience And Capabilities
