Job summary

Lakes Grammar is a K-12 coeducational school on the NSW Central Coast seeking a qualified TAS teacher for Years 7–12. You will plan, coordinate and deliver high-quality Technology and Applied Studies in line with the school’s philosophy and guiding principles.

The role requires a Bachelor of Education or equivalent, NSW/NSW-wide registration, knowledge of the Australian Curriculum and NSW syllabus documents, and a commitment to the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers.

Qualifications

• Experience in Engineering or Industrial Technology Multimedia viewed favourably.
• Experience teaching TAS (Technology and Applied Studies) to Years 7-12 desirable.
• Develop a culture of improvement in teaching and learning with student-centered planning.
• Implement learning and assessment frameworks using data and benchmarks to drive best practice.
• Collaborate with head of school, executive and staff to implement school goals.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, coordinate and deliver high quality TAS education in line with the school’s philosophy.
• Model exemplary classroom teaching and practice and manage student behaviour.
• Record student results, assessments and samples accurately and promptly.
