Job summary

Lakes Grammar, a K–12 coeducational school on the NSW Central Coast, invites applications for a 1.0 FTE TAS-teacher position commencing 15 January 2027. The successful candidate will plan, deliver and assess TAS (Technology and Applied Studies) across Years 7–12 within the school’s educational philosophy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in education or teaching qualification.
• Registration with the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA).
• Knowledge of the Australian Curriculum and NESA requirements.
• Commitment to the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers (AITSL).
• Knowledge of NSW syllabus documents and responding to student learning needs.
• Participation in co-curricular activities and events.
• NSW Working with Children Check and National Criminal History Check.
• Commitment to school values and child safety.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high quality TAS education to Years 7–12 in line with school philosophy.
• Develop and implement learning and assessment frameworks using data and benchmarks.
• Collaborate with the head of school and colleagues to achieve school goals.
• Model exemplary teaching and manage student behaviour.
• Record assessments and work samples accurately and on time.
