Job summary

Thorn Baker Group is recruiting an experienced Taper & Jointer for a short-term project in Fulham, London. You will tape and joint plasterboard walls and ceilings, apply finishing compounds, and ensure gaps are filled, sanded and prepared for decoration.

The assignment runs for 1–2 weeks with an ASAP start. You should have a proven finish, be reliable, and able to work independently. Own tools and PPE may be required; a CSCS card may be needed.

TAPER & JOINTER REQUIRED – FULHAM, LONDON

We are currently looking for an experienced Taper & Jointer to join a project based in Fulham, London.

The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out taping and jointing work to a high standard, ensuring plasterboard joints are properly filled, taped, sanded and finished ready for decoration.

Duties will include:

• Taping and jointing plasterboard walls and ceilings.

• Applying jointing compounds and tape to achieve a smooth, seamless finish.

• Filling and finishing joints, corners and screw holes.

• Sanding surfaces and preparing them ready for painting and decorating.

• Maintaining a clean and tidy working area.

• Ensuring all work is completed to a professional standard.
