Job summary

Comensura in Sydney is seeking a Talent Delivery Business Partner to lead delivery of contingent workforce solutions across a broad government portfolio. You will advise hiring managers through sourcing, selection, onboarding and commencement, ensuring quality outcomes.

Collaborating with internal sourcing experts and external suppliers, you will drive compliant, efficient delivery, monitor workforce trends, and contribute to continuous improvement while enjoying flexible hybrid work

  • Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building

  • Knowledge of onboarding and workforce compliance processes

Responsibilities

  • Manage contingent workforce requirements from intake through onboarding and commencement
  • Identify workforce risks and delivery challenges and implement proactive solutions
  • Monitor active, forecasted, and ageing job orders to ensure timely delivery
  • Act as day-to-day contact for hiring managers and sourcing partners
  • Educate and guide managers and suppliers on VMS steps and processes
  • Provide workforce market insights and hiring strategy recommendations
  • Ensure onboarding, rate cards and compliance are consistently followed
  • Analyse workforce trends and delivery data to identify improvements
  • Support new processes, technologies and delivery initiatives

About the Opportunity

We are looking for a Talent Delivery Business Partner to play a key role in delivering contingent workforce and talent solutions for assigned clients across a large and diverse government portfolio.

In this role, you will act as a trusted talent advisor to client hiring managers and ensure their contingent workforce requirements and job orders move efficiently throughout the lifecycle from approval & initiation through to sourcing, selection, offer, onboarding and commencement stages.

Utilising your deep knowledge in recruitment & talent solutions. You will partner & collaborate with our internal talent sourcing experts, external reputable recruitment suppliers & contractor management office. Ensuring that the best available contingent talent is sourced and matched to the job requirements.

Influencing, consulting and partnering in a way that achieves quality hiring decision outcomes which also meet our client's workforce diversity, compliance & cost requirements. Consistently delivering to a standard that leaves our clients feeling informed and satisfied about their user experiences.

Key Responsibilities
Workforce Planning & Delivery
  • Manage contingent workforce requirements from job intake through sourcing, interview, offer, onboarding, and commencement.
  • Identify workforce risks, skills shortages, and delivery challenges, implementing proactive solutions where required.
  • Monitor active, forecasted, and ageing job orders to ensure timely delivery.
Stakeholder Partnership
  • Act as the primary day-to-day contact for hiring managers and sourcing partners.
  • Educate and guide hiring managers and suppliers with the VMS technology steps and overarching processes
  • Provide workforce market insights and recommendations on hiring strategies.
  • Resolve recruitment queries and delivery issues within agreed service levels.
  • Collaborate effectively with coordinators, suppliers, and internal teams to achieve quality hiring outcomes.
  • Coordinate approved sourcing channels and recruitment suppliers.
  • Monitor supplier responsiveness and delivery performance.
  • Contribute and execute ideas to improve sourcing strategies and talent pipelines.
Performance, Compliance & Continuous Improvement
  • Maintain accurate operational reporting, forecasts, and performance commentary.
  • Ensure onboarding, approvals, rate cards, and compliance requirements are consistently followed.
  • Analyse workforce trends and delivery data to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Support the implementation of new processes, technologies, and workforce delivery initiatives.
About You
Proven experience within either:
  • Contingent Workforce Solutions or Managed Service Provider (MSP)
  • Recruitment Process Outsourcing (RPO)
  • Internal Talent Acquisition
  • Recruitment Agency Account Management
  • Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
  • Experience managing recruitment delivery and workforce fulfilment activities.
  • Ability to analyse recruitment and performance data to support decision‑making.
  • Strong understanding of workforce compliance and onboarding processes.
Highly Regarded
  • Experience using Beeline, Fieldglass, or other Vendor Management Systems (VMS).
  • Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and HRIS platforms.
  • Exposure to shared‑service or offshore delivery models.
  • Business, Commercial, or HR‑related qualifications.
