Job summary

Bennett + Bennett Corporate Services is seeking an experienced Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our People & Culture team. This role can be based in either our Gold Coast or Brisbane office and will head-hunt hard-to-find talent for the Group, including multi-award-winning Bennett + Bennett, House Surveys, Lion Systems and BBCS.

Qualifications

• Proven talent acquisition experience with strong head-hunting and direct sourcing skills.
• Professional services recruitment experience. Surveying, engineering, construction or related industry experience is highly regarded.
• A genuine candidate-first mindset.
• Experience mentoring others or upskilling hiring managers.
• Ability to manage multiple vacancies and stakeholders with confidence.
• Strong judgement and attention to detail, and a good understanding of privacy and fair selection practice.

• Map talent markets, engage passive candidates and build talent pools for future demand.
• Manage recruitment end to end for priority and hard-to-fill roles.
• Deliver a candidate-focused experience with clear communication, timely updates and a genuine sense of who we are.
• Provide indirect leadership to the HR Coordinator, sharing best practice and developing their skills.
• Coach leaders on role briefs, interviewing and fair selection.
• Grow direct sourcing and referrals, and use agencies only where truly needed.
• Report on time to hire, source of hire and pipeline health.

In this newly created role, you'll head-hunt hard-to-find talent for leading businesses across the Group, including multi-award-winning Bennett + Bennett, House Surveys, Lion Systems and BBCS.

You'll own the hard-to-fill searches, build talent pipelines before roles become urgent and give every candidate a great experience. You'll also guide our HR Coordinator, who recruits alongside you, and support leaders across the business to attract and select great talent.
